IMPORTANT NOTICE: TOSHIBA BATTERIES (Programm 1)
Toshiba has identified a potential charging or discharging issue with certain Toshiba battery packs. Potentially affected battery packs may not properly charge or discharge. The potentially affected battery packs were sold as accessories (“Optional Battery Packs”) or are included in certain Notebook PCs manufactured between March and May 2006.
There is no potential safety concern to the user or the battery.
Toshiba is offering a voluntary exchange of the potentially affected batteries to customers free of charge. Please note that only potentially affected batteries will be subject to a free of charge exchange. Notebooks containing potentially affected batteries are not included in the exchange program, only the batteries.
Listed below are the models and optional batteries which could be affected by this issue. Please note that not all of the notebook PCs within each listed model have an affected battery pack.
